North-West London newcomers, Here Lies Affliction, hit the scene in 2008 captivating listeners with a visceral onslaught of extreme metal driven by an unfeigned hardcore attitude. That same year the band self-released their debut E.P., `Traitors Gate`, a pioneering effort that tackled real life issues such as integrity, respect and street crime.
